NAPOLCOM 5 and Legazpi CPS Visit DWAY 104.3 FM for a Radio Guesting

LEGAZPI CITY — In the morning of October 6, 2015, Atty. Flora F. Mangampo-Remolacio (Technical Services Division Chief) and Atty. Adrian G. Miras (PIO) both of the National Police Commission Regional Office 5, and PSINSP Rio Calusor (PIO) of the Legazpi City Police Station went to the studio of DWAY 104.3 at Arimbay, Legazpi City for a radio guesting.

During the program, with Ms. Racquel and Sir Rico as anchors, PSINSP Calusor, who is a regular guest in the program, enlightened the listeners as to the administrative power of the NAPOLCOM over the PNP. She likewise gave the listeners an idea on the decreasing crime rate in the City of Legazpi due to the implementation of the Operation Lambat Sibat.

On the other hand, Atty. Mangampo-Remolacio and Atty. Miras answered questions coming from the radio anchors, specifically on the administrative disciplinary procedure involving erring uniformed police officers. They also provided some data on the most common charges against police officers filed before the NAPOLCOM Regional Office 5.

Atty. Mangampo-Remolacio then mentioned the ongoing program of the office on the re-activation/activation of the Student Crime Prevention Committee in the different schools in the region.

Finally, Atty. Miras announced the conduct of the NAPOLCOM examinations on October 25, 2015. He also reminded the examinees to bring only to the testing centers what is necessary, such as ballpens, pencils, and notice of admission, and avoid bringing gadgets and firearms, among others, as these will not be allowed inside the testing centers and no deposit station will be provided by the NAPOLCOM for security reasons.
