The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Regional Office 5, conducted the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations in the morning of October 27, 2019 at Marcial O. Rañola Memorial School (MORMS), Guinobatan, Albay.
Out of the 3,148 applicants who were admitted to take the exam, 3,011 were present, wherein 440 males and 202 females were Promotional examinees and the other 1,581 males and 788 females were Entrance examinees. A subtotal of 642 and 2,369 examinees for the promotional and entrance exam respectively.
The examination was administered by NAPOLCOM V Officials and Personnel. Also with the Commission was Hon. Felizardo M. Serapio, Jr., NAPOLCOM Commissioner, who observed and supervised the administration of the examinations. Prior to the exam proper, Commissioner Serapio together with NAPOLCOM V Officials conducted ocular surveillance of the testing center, and delivered inputs and messages during the Proctors’ briefing and the safety and security briefing which were simultaneously held at MORMS Guinobatan, Albay a day before the date of the examinations.
In view of the Memorandum of Agreement entered into by Marcial O Rañola Memorial School and NAPOLCOM Region 5, the former continues to support the latter in the administration of the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations which is one of the Flagship Programs of NAPOLCOM. As a token of appreciation and gratitude, it has been a tradition for NAPOLCOM to award MORMS with donations which would be instrumental in addressing the needs of the school.
The PNP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION is open to all Filipino citizens who meet the age, height and educational requirements. The PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS are open exclusively to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP who meet the minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.
